St. Marys Haunted History Tour

October 25, 2024

Some of St. Marys’ most chilling and historical figures will be out and about on Friday, October 25 as St. Marys Little Theatre (SMLT) presents its 15th Annual Haunted History Tour. This year’s line-up features haunting storytellers stationed in period costume around six to eight haunting venues in downtown St. Marys.

Venues may include the historic Oak Grove Cemetery, Orange Hall, the Archibald-Clark-Federal House, and the Goodbread House, among others. Popular past characters have included the goat man, visiting Salem Witches, Thomas Carnegie, soldiers, and pirates. This years characters will regale spectators with tales from beyond the grave creatively connected to St. Marys’ history. Melding legends of local spirits with authentic historical events, professional and amateur storytellers during this tour! Golf carts will be utilized for those who prefer not to walk the 6-block tour.

Upon purchase of a ticket, guests can pick up a map of the tour at Once Upon a Bookseller or St. Marys Welcome Center, and they can begin the tour at any of the venues.

Tickets for the tour can be purchased in advance at Once Upon a Bookseller and the St. Marys Welcome Center in downtown St. Marys (cash or check please) closer to tour date - check for tickets early September.

Tickets will be available online at StMarysLittleTheatre.com closer to the event date. Advance tickets are $8 and $10 on the day of the event. Groups of 20 or more can get a $2 discount for each ticket. For more information, call 954-290-9873.
